Marked by a splash of red (perhaps for the anger sports fans feel when their teams lose), Sports Mix is a wholly unironic add-on. It provides a mixture of sports stations from across the globe. In all, users are met with around 100 stations to choose from, rivaling any sports-specific add-on and some of the best and more functional IPTV add-ons available through the application. We’ve put together this guide to show you how to install the Sports Addon for Kodi, and to provide a review of its various features.
Sports Mix offers a lot for us to talk about, particularly on a pros/cons basis. However, there best way to experience what we mean is by having this add-on installed yourself. Don’t worry, it’s just as easy to delete from your Kodi as it is to install. Just follow our very simple installation guide right below. If you don’t find this one to your liking, there are also a number of other sports streaming add-ons available. Just check out our longer Sports Add-ons guide for some good options, as well as our individual reviews of these add-ons.

Before we Proceed
We highly recommend using a VPN when using Kodi. Kodi users have been known to receive copyright infringement notices for streaming movies, sports, and TV shows through various addons. If you would like to keep your streaming habits private, our recommendation is IPVanish - a complete privacy solution for Kodi users.
Sports Mix Installation Guide

When VPNs Matter
Virtual Private Networks are a necessity if you’re planning on making Kodi streaming a regularity. VPNs provide a significant amount of encryption and privacy while operating online. This includes with online streaming. The most effective VPN we’ve used is IPVanish. Its encryption methods are some of the best ones available. It’s currently a favorite go-to program for Kodi users and tech geeks alike, while also being mentioned positively by a lot of new media outlets. We suggest checking it out.
Sports Mix: Benefits and Limitations
The real benefit to Sports Mix is right in the title: The large mix of sports streaming options that are available. The application has just around 100 options for eager sports fans. Everything from Al Kass to BT Sport to Eurosport, on down to some very difficult to find options, such as Middle Eastern and Russian sports channels. Indeed, you’ll likely find a lot of options on Sports Mix that you probably won’t find on any other streaming application, as well as more options from some of the more well-known ones. For example, Sports Mix has more bEIN Sports channels than almost every other IPTV add-on, including ones that focus solely on sports.
The real limitation for Sports Mix is functionality. Far too often, many of the channels simply do not work. It can take some time to find a channel that does actually work. Oddly, when a station doesn’t work, it does not give an error message of any kind. Instead, it will lead you to an empty folder. This may be because the of dead links, or other problems with the add-on that we haven’t yet identified. Nevertheless, the add-on suffers from a lot of issues of just not working correctly. This is ultimately disappointing, given the vast number of channels sitting in its coffers just waiting to be enjoyed.
If you can get this one working well, it’s at the top of the list for great Kodi sports add-ons. If not, it’s effectively using up space.
