You can watch NHL on the NHL Kodi Addon easily, with a lot more options than you’ll find with just using cable or OTA networks. The NHL TV Kodi addon is feature-rich, so you’ll find a lot of options with this addon beyond just watching games.
If you find NHL TV is not quite enough, we also have an extensive guide on watching NHL on Kodi. The guide covers broadcasting deals and a few more options that may help benefit those looking for great NHL viewing options.
You’ll have an excellent experience when using Kodi to watch NHL games. However, some Kodi users have occasionally received copyright infringement notices from their ISPs. VPNs, or Virtual Private Networks, are a go-to option for many Kodi users as they help secure online privacy and anonymity. Here at AddonHQ, we recommend IPVanish as your VPN solution.

NHL TV Addon Review
The NHL TV Kodi addon is your gateway to getting all of the great content available on NHL.com. This includes free games, which are highlighted in green on the addon, and games that required a paid account. In order to use this addon, you will need to create an account on NHL.com. Account creation is easy, and you can do so using either your Facebook or Google credentials.
Inside the application, you’ll need to add in your NHL.com credentials. You can do this by right clicking on the addon under the Videos > Add-ons screen and then by clicking on Add-on settings. Rogers subscribers can also enter their subscriber information, which will also work with the addon.
Inside, you’ll find a simple layout that gives you easy and detailed access to Today’s Games, Yesterday’s Games, Feature Videos and Goto Date. The Goto Date section allows you to look up any game from the past all the way back to 2015. As stated, in order to get access to all of the games available, you will need a paid account on NHL.com.
As it stands, NHL TV is an excellent, free and legal source for watching NHL games. The streams come in at amazing HD quality, although you may experience some noticeable buffering. Again, look for the games with green lettering if you’re looking for the free ones. You can view those without logging in or creating an account, but you’ll be limited to a small handful of games.
