UKTV Now Add-on

The UKTV Now add-on carried over 150 channels from the UK, US, Pakistan and India. The channel line-up for UKTV Now is one of the largest, offering some of the most popular channels. This includes BBC 1, 2 and 3, Disney, History Channel, Sky 1 and 2, SyFy and wide selection of sports channels. If you want to watch live TV on Kodi through UKTV Now, there are two separate methods. You can install the file through by download the .zip file. Alternatively, you can install it using a Super Repository. We suggest using the MetalKettle Add-on Repository, as Metal Kettle is the author of this add-on.

1.  After you have installed the program, load up your Kodi.

2.  Go to “System”. Then, proceed to click on “File Manager”.

3.  Click on “Add source”.

4.  Under “Add source”, select “<None>”. In the empty box, type in “http://kodi.mettlekettle.co”. Select “Done”. It will then prompt you to give the media source a name. You can name it anything, but the best option is to name it “MetalKettle Repo”. Select “OK” to move on.

5.  Return to the home screen.

6.  Click on “System”.

7.  Under system, select “Add-ons”.

8.  Go to “Install from zip”. Select the MetalKettle Repo source (you named it earlier).

9.  Select the MetalKettle repository .zip file.

10.  Immediately after installing, you will get a message that your repository is enabled.

11.  Go to “Install from repository”.

12.  Click on “MetalKettle Add-on Repository.” Then, select “Video add-ons.”

13.  From the list of add-ons, locate “UKTV Now”. Select it, and on the right, select “Install”.

14.  You will receive a message that your add-on is enabled.

15.  Return to the home screen, and go to your “Videos” section. You should see the UKTV Now icon available.

*Note: Due to localization, you may have trouble loading up shows from UKTV that are outside of your country. In these cases, you will want to run the program through a VPN.

USTVNow Plus

Similar to UKTV Now, USTVNow also allows you watch live TV on Kodi by granting you streaming access to dozens of U.S. cable networks. Follow these simple steps to get USTVNow on your Kodi. USTVNow offers 7 basic network channels for the free version (ABC, CBS, CW, Fox, NBC, PBS and My TV). Cable channels can be acquired for a cost of around $24.00 a month. The paid subscription includes all of the major cable channels such as History, SyFy, CNN, FoxNews and others, as well as a select few movie channels. The benefit of USTVNow is the freedom to avoid worrying about whether you’re receiving live streaming illegally. USTVNow follows all laws regarding streaming rights.

1.  U.S. TV Now requires creating an account on their website. The account is free, but you will need to do it in order to access it. Go to their sign up page to create an account. The initial account gives you all access, but will eventually limit you to only 7 channels. The full 29 channel access is available with a subscription fee.

2.  Once your account is created, go to your Kodi home screen.

3.  Go to “Videos” from your main screen.

4.  Select “Add-ons”.

5.  Select “Get More”.

6.  Scroll down the list until you find “USTV Now”.

7.  After selecting “USTV Now”, click “Install”.

8.  Once you receive the “Add-on enabled” message on the bottom right, you can locate the add-on from your “Videos” menu on the home screen.

9.  If you have already created your account, it will ask you to sign up from Kodi.

DNA Live TV

DNA Live TV is completely free and has a large selection of channels. As with USTV Now and UKTV Now, channels are broadcast live. Follow these steps to get DNA Live TV on Kodi. DNA Live TV has one of the most complete live streaming television lineups you’ll find of any Kodi add-on. All of the major US-based network channels are available, and a very wide selection of the most popular cable networks. There are even several foreign channels, including Arirang, and a good selection of premium move channels like Cinemax and HBO.

1.  Go to “System”. Then, proceed to click on “File Manager”.

2.  Click on “Add source”.

 

4.  Return to the home screen.

5.  Click on “System”.

6.  Under system, select “Add-ons”.

7.  Go to “Install from zip file”.

8.  Click on “DNA Live TV” (this is this one you named).

9.  From the list of files, locate the one that says “repository.dnarepo-x.x.x.zip”. The versions change, so the x’s could represent any string of numbers based on future updates to the file.

10.  You will receive a message that your add-on is enabled.

11.  Go to the “Install from repository” section. Click it.

12.  Select “dna Repository”.

13.  Click on “Program add-ons”.

14.  Click on “dnaTV Guide”. Click on “Install”.

15.  Once you receive the “Add-on enabled” message on the bottom right, head back to the “Add-ons” screen.

16.  In “Add-ons”, select “Video Add-ons”.

17.  Select “DNA TV”. Install it.

18.  Go back to your home screen.

19.  Click on “Videos”. Then, click on “Add-ons”.

20.  Click on “Get More”.

21.  Click on “DNA TV Pro”.

22.  Click on “Install”.

23.  Return to “Add-ons” in the Video section.

24.  Click on “DNA TV Pro”.

25.  Click on “DNA TV Guide”. You can now access the channels.

Goodfellas

Goodfellas has a fair selection of videos to choose from. You won’t find the same selection as you will on UKTV Now or DNA Live TV. However, there are some channels you may be interested in. This includes the live news channels like CNN, Fox News, CNBC, Bloomberg and C-SPAN, as well as live sports channels like ESPN, live kids’ channels such as Disney and Cartoon Network, and a wide range of streaming shows that are not live, but still great choices. Thankfully, if you have already installed UKTV Now or DNA Live, this install will be fairly simply.

1.  Go to “System”. Then, proceed to click on “File Manager”.

2.  Click on “Add source”.

3.  Under “Add source”, select “<None>”. In the empty box, type in “http://www.goodfellasteam.com/Repository/ ”. Select “Done”. It will then prompt you to give the media source a name. You can name it anything, but the best option is to name it “Goodfellas. Select “OK” to move on.

4.  Return to the home screen.

5.  Click on “System”.

6.  Under system, select “Add-ons”.

7.  Go to “Install from zip file”.

8.  Click on “Goodfellas” (this is this one you named).

9.  Click on the repository folder. Then, click on the repository zip file.

10.  You will receive a message that your add-on is enabled.

11.  Go to the “Install from repository” section. Click it.

12.  Select “Goodfellas”.

iLiVE StreamLive

Stream Live from iLiVE is an excellent live streaming source with a wide range of options. However, the primary live tv option you’ll find with iLiVE is sports channels. There are an extremely large number of live sports channels to from, from several different countries and in a handful of languages. This includes ESPN, Sky, Bien Sport France, Canal+ France, Euro Sport 1 and the NFL Network, among others. Most of the other options on iLiVE are streaming options spread across a very broad range of categories. Installation is similar to most other options on our list.

1.  First, download the iLiVE StreamLive zip file.

1.  After you have installed the program, load up your Kodi.

2.  Click on “System”. Then, go to “Settings”.

3.  Under system, select “Add-ons”.

4.  Go to “Install from zip file”.

5.  Locate the iLiVE zip file you just downloaded: “plugin.video.tbh.ilive-0.2.2.zip”.

6.  You will receive a message that your add-on is enabled.

7.  Return to the home screen. Select “Videos”, and then “Add-ons”.

8.  From the list, select “iLiVE”.

9.  From there, you can choose the category you want to watch from the drop-down menu.
